Mazyr is a city in the south-east of Belarus, located in the Gomel region. The city has several attractions worth visiting:
Church of the Holy Apostles Peter and Paul. This is a baroque Catholic church built in the 18th century. The church is one of the symbols of the city and one of its main attractions.
Mozyr Castle. This is an 18th century manor house with a palace and park ensemble with a castle and a park. The castle is a monument of architecture and history, as well as the center of the cultural life of the city.
Museum-reserve "Mozyr forest". This is a unique museum of nature, which is located on the territory of the forest. In the museum you can get acquainted with the flora and fauna of the forest, as well as learn about its history and ecology.
Pervomaisky park. This is the largest park in the city where you can relax and spend time in nature. The park has a lake, rides, sports grounds and walking paths.
Museum of the history of the Mozyr railway. This is a museum that tells about the history and development of railway transport in the region. In the museum you can see old trains, locomotives, wagons and other exhibits.
