RUSSIA AND THE CIS IN THE MIRROR OF THE YELLOW BOOK
In recent years, China has increasingly focused on studying foreign policy, the country's role in the international community, and its relations with individual States. There are also many works devoted to Russia and Russian-Chinese relations. One of the most famous centers for the study of Russian-Chinese relations is the Institute of Russian, East European & Central Asian Studies (IREECAS), an Institute of Russia, Eastern Europe and Central Asia of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences. The center's website regularly publishes news, reports, and articles devoted to all spheres of life in Russia, Eastern Europe, and Central Asia, as well as Chinese authors ' assessments of the current state of politics, economy, and cultural events in the region. The article examines not only China's relations with the countries of this region, but also relations both within the region and with world political and economic centers, such as the United States and the European Union. Much attention is paid to the inter-state organizations of this region, primarily the CIS and the SCO. In addition to the centers, specialized publishing houses for the study of international relations are being opened in Beijing and other cities of China. One of the largest and most significant of them is China Social Sciences Academic Press. Since 2006, the Yellow Book of Russia, Eastern Europe and Central Asia has been published annually under the auspices of this publishing house. A total of six "Yellow Books"were published.
