Burpee (English burpee) is a complex exercise that includes squats, push-ups and jumps. It is named after the American physiologist and athletic trainer Royal H. Burpee, who first developed it in the 1930s. The burpee was created as part of a military fitness program and has since become a popular exercise in a variety of sports and fitness.

There are many variations of the burpee, but the basic idea is that the exercise begins with a squat, then the hands are lowered to the ground, push-ups are performed, then a jump up occurs with a raise of the hands. Options may include changing the number of squats, push-ups and jumps, using extra weight, different leadership options, etc.

The burpee is considered to be a very effective exercise for developing endurance, strength and speed, as well as for burning calories and improving overall fitness. However, due to its high intensity and complexity, before starting the burpee, it is necessary to consult with the trainer and make sure that you are ready for it.
